About Us

We are a team of corporate governance professionals, with over 50 years’ combined experience in the company secretarial profession who are dedicated to ensuring your organisation maintains high standards of corporate governance and help it comply with its financial and legal obligations. The team is equipped with a diverse skill-set and are driven to help our clients optimise their governance strategies. We promote good governance through the provisions of the UK Corporate Governance Code, the Disclosure and Transparency Rules and the UK Listing Rules, and for Investment Trusts we guide by the provisions set out in the Association of Investment Companies (‘AIC’) Code of Corporate Governance. Members of the team also have an excellent working knowledge the Companies Act 2006 to help further assist clients navigate the nuances of UK Company Law.

Deirdre Quinn Flindell, Kin Company Secretarial

Deirdre Quinn Flindell – Managing Director | Head of Governance & Company Secretariat (ACG)

Deirdre is an Associate member of the Governance Institute UK & Ireland and holds a MSc in Corporate Governance with distinction from LSBU Business School. She has also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School in London and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin. Deirdre has a part-time seat at a London City Law firm and is currently reading for her Solicitors Qualifying Exams.

Deirdre is passionate about promoting Good Governance practices to both UK public and private companies and assisting clients in improving their governance strategies and corporate reporting. More recently, Deirdre has been awarded the coveted ‘Governance HOT100 award’ 2023 in the innovator category, which recognises her contribution to promoting and utilising technology to enhance all aspects of company secretarial and corporate governance support. Prior to joining the Kin Group in 2021 to oversee the Group’s Company Secretariat department, Deirdre supported the Board of a UK FTSE 100 Company since 2015 in her capacity as Assistant Company Secretary.

Nanaagera Marfo, Kin Company Secretarial

Nanaagera Marfo – Senior Assistant Company Secretary

Nanaagera is an Associate Chartered Secretary with an LLB Law degree and an LLM in Corporate Governance and Law accredited by The Chartered Governance Institute from the University of Portsmouth.

Nanaagera has over 4 years in-house financial services experience which entailed supporting with the company secretarial and governance requirements for a number of private entities and debt listed PLC’s with a focus on transactional work.

Nanaagera enjoys corporate governance and complex transactional work and is also a committee member of the Association of Women Chartered Secretaries (AWCS).

Lucinda Nicholas, Kin Company Secretarial

Lucinda Nicholas – Deputy Company Secretary

Lucinda is a Fellow of the Governance Institute UK & Ireland, qualifying and gaining her Associateship in 1999. Lucinda has a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from De Montford University in Leicester and she also holds a Batchelor of Arts degree in Business Studies.

Lucinda has over 25 years of experience obtained both in-house and in professional services, dealing with all aspects of company secretarial and governance requirements. She has worked closely with Boards of Publicly Listed Companies, large commercial banks and all sizes of private entities.

Lucinda has undertaken complex projects for larger corporate organisations including structural reorganisations and international subsidiary compliance. She is passionate about the application of good governance practices in both private limited and publicly listed companies.


Ada Allison-Ikwuagwu, Kin Company Secretarial

Ada Allison-Ikwuagwu – Company Secretarial Assistant

Ada has an LLB Law degree from the University of Leicester and 2 years of in-house financial services experience supporting the Legal and Regulatory team with Company secretarial and governance requirements, focusing mainly on transactional work. Ada has supported on various projects including a global re-structuring alongside the day-to-day corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements of various private entities.

She is currently studying towards the Chartered Governance Qualifying programme with the goal of becoming a fully qualified Company secretary.


Matthew Missons, Kin Company Secretarial

Matthew Missons – Senior Finance Manager

Matt is a Chartered Accountant having qualified under the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2021, alongside completing his Level 7 Apprenticeship for Accountancy Professionals. Matt is responsible for managing the finance function at Kin Company Secretarial and for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance function of the Kin Group.

Prior to joining Kin in 2022, Matt worked for a Top 10 accounting firm and has a wide range of experience in the accounting sector, having spent 7 years in private practice working for a range of clients across a variety of industries.

In his free time, Matt likes to spend time with his wife and son and has a keen passion for Formula 1.
